A quick note on the gaps. The Evade Wiki lists no confirmed price or level for Headphones. Badge and Briefcase level gates are undocumented too. Rather than guess, we have flagged them. Check the in game shop for the current figures.

Movement Perks – The Ones That Keep You Alive

Evade is a parkour game wearing a horror mask. Everything below directly affects how fast you escape.

• Hermes Shoes– boosts acceleration by 70%, so you hit top speed almost instantly. Base walkspeed is 16.6 and the ceiling stays at 33.3. Acceleration is what saves you around corners.
• Treads– pushes base walkspeed from 16.6 up to roughly 23.3. You move quicker even without sprinting, which saves stamina across a long round.
• Stilts– lifts your maximum speed by 8%. Open maps with long sightlines are where this shines. Cramped hallways barely notice it.
• Spring Shoes– a pair of gravity coils granting a double jump. Use it to clear gaps on maps like Drab or Necropolis, or to reach camping spots bots struggle with.
• Boost Pack– the priciest perk in the game. Its dash resets every 6 seconds and works even while carrying a teammate. Be warned: it grants no invincibility frames.

Hermes Shoes and Treads solve different problems despite sounding similar. One fixes how quickly you recover speed, the other raises the speed you recover to.

Support Perks – For Team Players

Reviving is half the game in public lobbies. These two perks turn you into the person everyone wants on their server.

• Stethoscope– Revives teammates 50% faster for only $1,000. It unlocks at Level 4, which makes it the cheapest and earliest perk available. In packed servers the time saved stacks up fast.
• Medkit– Bumps your downed movement speed by 20% and adds 30 seconds to your revive window. That extra half minute often decides whether someone reaches you.
• Headphones– Widens the range at which you hear Nextbots, including ones you cannot see. Dark maps and blind corners become far less deadly.

One warning on Headphones. A cosmetic version exists that does nothing at all. Make sure you are buying from the Perks tab, not the cosmetics section.

Progression Perks – Farming Cash and XP

These three do nothing for survival. They exist purely to speed up the grind toward everything else on this page.

• Badge– a flat 10% experience bonus. Run it while you climb toward the Level 60 and Level 100 gates.
• Briefcase– a flat 10% cash bonus. Pair it with Badge if you are saving for the $10,000 Boost Pack.
• Mil-Grade Pack– raises your deployable limit by 9. Barriers, sensors, and speed pads all benefit. Niche, but strong on objective heavy maps.

Mil-Grade Pack has been buffed repeatedly. It started at 3 deployables and now sits at 9, so older guides quoting 5 are out of date.

Evade Perks Tier List

Ranked by how often each perk saves your run, not by price.

• S tier– Hermes Shoes, Treads. Pure movement value on every map, every round.
• A tier– Stilts, Boost Pack, Spring Shoes. Excellent, though they reward players who already move well.
• B tier– Stethoscope, Medkit, Bloxy Boy, Headphones. Situational but genuinely useful in team play.
• C tier– Badge, Briefcase, Mil-Grade Pack. Grind helpers with zero survival impact.

Bloxy Boy deserves a defence. Its 5 second burst fires exactly when a bot lunges. That is the worst possible moment to be slow. Veterans stack it with a cola and a speed pad for absurd bursts.

Best Two Perk Combos

You get two slots. These pairings cover the most common playstyles.

• New players– Stethoscope plus Bloxy Boy. Both unlock early and cost little.
• Pure survival– Hermes Shoes plus Treads. Fast recovery and a higher cruising speed.
• Support main– Stethoscope plus Medkit. You revive quicker and survive longer when downed.
• Farming runs– Badge plus Briefcase. Slower, but your wallet fills twice as fast.
• Advanced movement– Hermes Shoes plus Boost Pack. Only worth it once you can aim a dash under pressure.

Stacking two perks with the same effect wastes a slot. Mix a movement perk with a utility perk unless you are chasing one specific stat.

How to Buy and Equip Perks

This trips up plenty of new players. Perks live in a different menu from your items.

• Open the menu with [M] or the on screen button.
• Head to Shop, then Character, then the Perks tab.
• Buy the perk you want, provided you meet its level gate.
• Go back to Character, then Inventory.
• Drop your chosen perks into the two available slots.

They arm themselves the moment a round begins. There is no button to press and no cooldown to track, outside the Boost Pack.

Removed and Unobtainable Perks

Three names show up in old videos but cannot be bought today.

• Default– removed and swapped for a plain red X icon. It still appears in Legacy mode.
• Alpha Tester– once the rarest perk in the game. An update converted it to a cosmetic and stripped its 6% boost.
• Bobo-Grade Pack– listed on the wiki among removed perks and no longer sold.

Latest Evade News

Evade turned four this summer, and the developers brought back over 14 Legacy maps to celebrate. They stay live until the Summer Event wraps up. The Summer Event itself runs on Bubbles, a collectible currency that unlocks cosmetics, emotes, and event items. None of it affects perks directly, though the extra rounds help you farm cash.

More relevant for this page, the team rewrote the game codebase for stability and optimization. The wiki has also posted teasers for overhauled Stilts and Hermes Shoes models. Both are visual so far, with no confirmed stat changes yet.
