Voting for a map you cannot read is how good runs end early. This Evade Maps guide breaks the rotation down by difficulty. Now you know what you are walking into before the round loads. Over 200 maps sit in the catalogue once event and retired layouts are counted, with roughly 164 in active rotation. Higher difficulty pays better, but only if you survive the full three minutes.
What is the Purpose of Maps in Evade?
Every round drops you onto a map with a difficulty rating attached. The goal never changes. Outlast the Nextbots for three minutes.
Difficulty controls two things: how punishing the layout is, and how much you earn at the end. A cramped Expert map pays far more than a flat Easy one.

Maps rotate through player voting between rounds. Private servers let you pick a specific one. That is the cleanest way to practise a layout or farm a familiar map.
One scheduling rule catches everyone out. The final round on any map is always a special round, so the rules shift right as you get comfortable.
All Evade Map Difficulties Explained
All maps in Evade fall into four tiers. These difficulties describe layout complexity rather than Nextbot strength in each of them.

Pro Servers only ever show Hard and Expert maps. That mode unlocks at level 50, so the difficulty jump is deliberate rather than accidental.
Easy Maps in Evade
Our Evade list of maps starts here. Around 38 carry the Easy tag, most flat and built for movement practice.

Others in this bracket include Borealis, Disco, Empty, Garbage Disposal, Military Base, Mictlan, Moon, Space, Speed, Surfing, and Winterfall Kingdom.
Do not dismiss these as beginner filler. Trimp and Movement Map are where experienced players drill bunny hopping without geometry punishing every mistake.
Normal Maps in Evade
The middle tier adds buildings, doorways, and interior spaces. You need spatial awareness rather than raw reflexes.

Normal maps are where most players spend their time. They reward learning one reliable loop per map rather than improvising every round.
Hard Maps in Evade
Roughly 45 maps sit at Hard. Corridors tighten, sightlines vanish, and getting cornered becomes a genuine risk.

Also in this bracket: Atoll, Camp Cliffwood, Coastal Town, Cursed Cathedral, Indoor Water Park, and Warped Estate.
Desert Bus deserves special mention. The bus is a hazard that kills whatever it hits, players and Nextbots alike. Time your positioning and it becomes a weapon.
Expert Maps in Evade
The top tier is built to be hostile. Dead ends are common and the layouts actively work against you.

Expert maps pay the most in the game, but only if you last. Being downed penalises your end of round reward, so a cautious Hard run often beats a failed Expert one.
Evade Event and Seasonal Maps
Around 62 maps are tied to events, split across Summer, Halloween, Christmas, and Spring collections. They rotate in and out with the calendar.
- Halloween– Pumpkin Emporium, Cemetery, Nightmare Library, Insane Asylum, Hallow’s Rail, and Fazbear Pizzeria.
- Christmas– Festive Workshop, Festive Gathering, Jolly Village, Frostlight Hollow, and Frosty Summit.
- Summer– Coral Reef, Ocean Drive, Inflatable Park, Nemo’s Rest, and Atoll.
- Spring and others– Hanami, Escalera, Prague Square, Hokkaido, Outdoor Zoo, Ravaged Galleon, and Valley View Mall.

Event maps often carry unique interactables and themed hazards. If one appears and you have never played it, treat the first round as reconnaissance rather than a serious attempt.
Special, Exclusive and Removed Evade Maps
Roblox Evade all maps do not share one rotation. Three separate categories sit outside the standard pool.
- Special maps– secret layouts that can only be forced using Robux.
- Exclusive maps– available on VIP servers only, never in public matchmaking.
- Removed maps– pulled from the game for various reasons, though many return during anniversary events.

Two more collections exist for completeness. Small Maps are compact layouts, and Interloper Mission Maps tie into specific mission content. Neither shows up in standard voting.
Map Hazards and Objectives in Evade
Layout is only half the story. Several maps carry environmental features that change how you play them.
- Instant kill hazards– voids and gorges kill on contact. Crucially they kill Nextbots too, so a well timed dodge near an edge can remove a pursuer entirely.
- Objectives– some maps let you complete interactive tasks. Rewards include badges, saferoom access, or a short lived advantage lasting seconds to minutes.
- Saferooms– a handful of maps hide secure rooms. Finding one turns a losing round into a survivable one.
Learning which maps have hazards is worth more than learning their layouts. Turning a map feature into a weapon is the fastest skill jump available.
Dark Evade Maps That Need a Light
Some layouts are functionally unplayable without a light source equipped.
- Backrooms
- Labyrinth
- Maze and Death Maze
- Traprooms
- Sewers
- Pumpkin Emporium

Bring a Lantern or Flashlight for team visibility, since those cast real light everyone benefits from. Night Vision only brightens your own screen and leaves teammates blind.
Which Evade Maps to Play at Your Level?
Vote for difficulty that matches your movement, not your ambition.
Rewards scale with difficulty, but so does the chance of being downed early. A completed Normal round frequently beats a failed Hard one on payout.
Legacy Layouts Are Back on the Rotation
Evade turned four this summer. The developers brought back over fourteen retired maps to mark it. They remain playable until the Summer Event closes.
This matters more than a nostalgia note. Older layouts tend to be simpler than the current rotation. That makes right now a forgiving window for learning to read maps.
The event itself runs on Bubbles, a collectible currency spent on cosmetics and emotes. It changes nothing about how maps play, though more rounds means more chances at the returning layouts.
Map rotations and event windows get announced in the official Evade Discord first. Load Evade on Roblox to see which retired maps are live right now.

Trimp, Movement Map, and Baseplate. All are flat and open, so mistakes cost speed rather than your run.
Yes, difficulty raises your end of round reward. Being downed cuts that payout, so finishing matters more than the tier you picked.
